Cleve Grant, founder and CEO of Justice Security Guard Services, brings nearly three decades of real-world law enforcement experience to the frontline of private security. With a deep understanding of public safety, crisis response, and community protection, Cleve has built Justice Security from the ground up with a mission to provide dependable, highly trained security personnel across Louisiana.
His leadership is grounded in firsthand experience—whether handling high-pressure situations, diffusing confrontations, or training the next generation of guards. Cleve’s commitment to professionalism, accountability, and ongoing education through Tower of Strength Academy (TOSA) ensures that every guard under his leadership is equipped, empowered, and prepared to protect.

What inspired you to start or lead Justice Security?
After a lengthy career in law enforcement, I still had the desire to protect and serve the people of the state of Louisiana.
What’s one lesson you’ve learned in your career that’s stuck with you?
The lesson I learned comes from the police officer’s prayer…”Let me never make a judgement in a rash or callous way, but let me hold my patience, let each man have his say.”

RECRUITMENT
PROCESS
At Justice Security, our recruitment process is designed to ensure we hire dependable, professional, and well-qualified individuals. It begins with an online application and interview to assess the candidate’s background, communication skills, and suitability for the role. Once selected, applicants must pass a background check, complete fingerprinting, and register with the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners.
New hires then attend mandatory in-service and certification training at TOSA (Tower of Strength Academy), which includes preparation for real-world scenarios and, if applicable, armed guard certification. After all requirements are met, guards are placed at posts that align with their strengths, training, and experience.
